Today, i’ve added captures to the gallery of the 1999 horror remake, House on Haunted Hill starring Ali as Sara Wolfe. The movie is about a group of people who get brought together by a millionaire who offers them $1,000,000 to spend the night in a haunted house, but really the house is alive itself. Ali plays one of the more likable characters and shares most of the screen time. I’ll add clips very soon, but for everyone that has supported the site since it started, i wish a happy new year. See you in 2008!

The best news of the year has to be Ali appearing in one biggest worldwide phenomenon, Heroes. Also that Ali starred in the big box office hit that was, Resident Evil: Extinction. Oh and finally, Ali getting engaged!

• Worst News
It has to be all them moaning fans of Heroes that have a certain grudge against Niki (Ali’s character). Also, the writers strike has been bad as it has put Ali out of work, but we’re glad she is supporting! And finally, the fact that Niki may not be returning to Heroes.

• Favorite Cover

This has to be my favorite cover of the year as i truly adored this photoshoot (see below). Ali looks amazing and the rest of the shoot is just as good. In 2007, Ali has graced 7 magazine covers! You could also count 8 for the fabulous drawing that Phil Jimenez drew of Ali for the 4 TV Guide covers for Heroes.

She might be our sexiest woman of the year, but we’ll have to wait for January 31, 2008 to find out whether AskMen viewers feel the same way. Thanks to Andre for letting me know that Ali does have a place on the Top 99 and hopefully she is right up there near the top! Congrats to Ali as it has been reported that she got engaged this weekend! We wish her all the best and i’m sure she’ll look gorgeous on her wedding day!

Heroes star Ali Larter and her longtime boyfriend, actor Hayes MacArthur, got engaged over the weekend, PEOPLE confirms.
“It’s true,” says a rep for the actress. “They’re thrilled.”
This will be the first marriage for both. No wedding date has been set.
Larter, 31, has made it clear she has been more than ready for a proposal from MacArthur, who recently appeared in The Game Plan.
“I told my boyfriend after three weeks that I wanted to marry him and that we could do it tomorrow,” Larter recently said. “I look forward to that time when I’m home with babies.”
And in August, Larter she was madly in love, adding that MacArthur has “brought light to my life. I feel lucky every morning when I wake up and see him.”

Ali was back yesterday supporting the strike alongside fellow ‘Heroes’ cast mates. I also added some other candids to the gallery a few days ago which you can view! Hopefully, the writers strike will end soon and we can get back to watching Niki on ‘Heroes’. Or should i say Jessica? Hmmm.
